Vanilla Gorilla Logo Design
Designed logo mark for an early-stage gym apparel concept. The brand never launched, but the project was a strong exercise in sport/apparel visual identity — balancing attitude, elegance, and wearability.
Overview
The founders of Vanilla Gorilla wanted to build a sportswear apparel brand that would allow gym rats to work out in style and comfort. They were planning to start small with basic apparel, hoping to join the ranks of Gymshark and Nike.
Challenge
They expressed their love of premium clothing logos like Versace, Prada, and Gucci, but wanted some ruggedness too. The challenge for me was blending elegance and premium design with authenticity and edge.
Development
Working through highly illustrative, detailed concepts helped me to whittle down the shapes into their most raw, basic form. Slowly, I began finding the balance between the simple elegance of premium brands and the ruggedness of gym culture.

Final Logo Mark
The final logo addresses both needs — elegance and ruggedness. Utilizing basic shapes with slight texture in the lines, Vanilla Gorilla’s logo mark sits at the intersection of iconic, premium, and authentic.
